stalkerbunnyjust watched the sixth One Piece movie on youtube o_o...so, why weren't the others this awesome ? (seen 5 and 7, I think)
It started out all bright and cheerfull and pretty (oh those pretty pretty costumes...waah). Giant Chopper fluffball was very kyuute...and the hoof/boat-thingy...hm, I wonder how Zoro and Sanji DID end on the same boat (snicker) since they were both so agains the idea?...(and the cooking fight was too cool)
Also the architecture (I have a soft spot for ruin-y buildings, therefore squuedom) and the lightning throughout the movie (sobeautiful...ah, those candles...)
And then. The movie became dark and eerie (and there was delicious conflict and angst). I swear that flower was one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen...As was Luffy after he had been hit by the arrows (well, "killed by angst"-Luffy a bit before was almost as weird...)and that whispering...uh. I can't remember EVER having gotten actual goosebumbs while watching any movie, but now I did, many times.
So, all in all, a pretty good movie :)
