(because talking about c. is prohibited, for now)
was digging through our old cassette tapes yesterday, trying to find a certain fairytale cassette. Or, rather, a certain fairytale, since I can't remember the name. Didn't find it, too bad. (and therefore I'm going to tell what happened in it...for no particular reason :P )
In the story there were two baby princes, and everyday a crow flew in the window, and crowed to the other one: "It's bad to be a human". So he grew up all emo (unlike his sunny brother)
Later our dark and brooding hero helped...a bird I think, which gave him three wishes. At first he wanted to be a fish, but was almost eaten and changed back. Then he walked on (still convinced it was bad being a human. When he saw a beautiful girl, he wished to be a tree with her (he didn't ask the girl thought...how nice)
Then he was a tree for some time until a storm came, and a lightning bolt hit the other tree, at which point the prince panicked again and wished to change back. And continued his journey, emoer than ever.
Until the came to a desert. (I love how the tellers voice sounds here. as she says: "now, my dear listeners, I'm afraid our hero was quite insane, for he wished to be a"...) Yes, a salt statue (XD)
In the end he was saved by a gypsy princess who noticed there was a man inside the salt statue, fell in love (in the prompt f.t. tradition) and cried until the salt melted (it took a while). The crow also appeared and crowed his teaching, but the princes pulled out her crossbow, and shot it through the heart (so cool...). Then they l.h.e.a.
