*sniffle* damn hayfever...

The rules are as follows: You start off with writing down ten weird things/habits/little known things about yourself. People who get tagged have to then write ten weird things/habits/little known facts about themselves in their own blog or LJ. At the end, you pick ten people off your flist and tag them so as to continue the game. No tagbacks, and the rules must be stated clearly in your post.

1. I'm the only one in my family who has red hair, counting cousins and such. Well, I've heard that my mothers fathers sister had red hair (now it's gray, of course) but she's the only one.

2. I don't ever drink alcohol because I fear getting drunk and doing something embarrassing. (in Finland that's apparently so weird some people feel insulted about it at parties, I've heard...that makes me a bit angry...)
I don't drink coffee either (also weird for a Finnish person :P).

3. I once found a Pokemon figurine at the bottom of a lake/pond, and my sister said it was a water type pokemon too XD (I really like diving around, especially with glasses, and of course it's more interesting in a lake...thought I've never used any equipment >_>)

4. When I'm not concentrating on anything particular, I'm making up stories in my head, or usually it's the same old stories that I just roll around, with small variations. Just recently I've started to write some of them down too...I blame my father who used to take me walking in the woods, and made up stories of things there. (or just borrowed from stuff he had read or seen...as in: In a abandoned cellar there lived a certain finnish troll character, and once we found some things left behind by certain moomin characters, since those woods weren't exactly the cleanest place, but as a child I just thought it exciting to find Tiuhti and Viuhti's suitcase...)
That might have sparked my imagination, I don't really know. At school when we had recess I often sat somewhere and just daydreamed, I guess (it helped the school yard is very big and kind of foresty). Even when some people asked me to play with them, I just said no cheerfully, because I was having fun.

5. I have this certain favourite candy, that I eat once a week...I always mash them and mix them together in different combinations, almost like some kind of freaky ritual (but they taste better, I say! :0 ). A bit like my favourite way of eating brown sauce and potatoes: 1. mash the potatoes with a fork and mix with some sauce 2. make a cake of the combination 3. pour some more sauce on it. Scared yet? ^_^'''

6. I'm so lousy at remembering numbers, that I have trouble remembering my birthdate (especially if I get nervous...which is basically every situation I NEED to remember it), but I DO remember the number of my library card, since I had to give it to the computer every time I wanted to see my personal information, or reserve something. (libraries= <3)

7. In the same theme, when I needed to learn the city where my highschool was better (in the capital, and I live some ways of, in a quite small village) I looked for libraries on the map, and visited all I could reach (I walked hours, I think...it was pretty fun, if tiring.)

8. I've been complained at for not getting mad at someone. When I was about six, there was a girl who tended to play either with me or another girl who lived around the same yard. Once when I was taking my shunning term, she tried to tease me about it:
them: Ha! We are not playing with YOU, what do you say about that?
me: Okay ^_^ *went home*
her: Why don't you ever get mad? *fumes*
Sometimes the: "ignore the problem"- way works as well, apparently...

9. I like reading old encyclopedias, it's like taking a time trip (thanks to my last schools library, third of the books there were printed before the fifties, I suspect ^_^). I expecially look for pretty pictures of different countries (coughAsiacough) and weird opinions to sneer at. The auditory equipvalent is listening to an old folk song recording, where you might sometimes hear things going on in the background...yay. Not that folk songs in themselves aren't timetrippy enough...and fairytales too.

10. People are usually surprised when it comes up that I'm over eighteen (my twentient birthday is 27th this month).
Me buying a ticket:
me: One ticket, please.
person selling them: Are you quite sure? Not a childrens ticket, or a students?
me: yes...
btw, you have to buy the adult ticket when you are over 16. I wonder if it's because of how I act, or how I look (maybe because I don't use make up...or am of the: "cover up the (horrible awful acne) faults, but try to not make the make up obvious"-school of thought, if merely because I'm not that confident in doing make up, also, a lot of it DOES make a person look older, I've noticed.)

agh...I really wouldn't like to tag anyone, even if they'll never notice...ok, thinking that I can do it (if you DO see it, and have done this, or don't want to do it...don't let it bother you, please):
paperpencil , absenceofmind , arcuied_11 , guardian_yugi , jevvadark , yatsu_seme , tubbsen , thez , chibi_trillian aand...I don't really have that many people on my list who are taggable (techically half here aren't either, but...eeps)
