Fic thoughts

stalkerbunnySupposed to be writing home exam (should have started yesterday, really) for the cultural history of sexuality course... which is actually quite interesting, even the questions. Still procrastinating though.
Still not really writing fic either, which doesn't stop ideas from appearing. I blame M. for encouraging me. The most recent one came about while we were discussing slave fics and Doctor/Master. Which already has a few, but after a detour to imagining Six in that position (I'm sure he'd enjoy making a proper production about his resistance x3), M. pointed out it might be interesting to flip the usual order of things and have MASTER be the slave. Which imo would not even be that hard with Delgado!Master and Three, not the way I see them anyway.
Although rather than all-out slavery, it'd be this cheesy aliens made them do it plot where they go on a planet where there's a culturally dictated dom/sub system, and they have to play a bonded couple to get to somewhere (to get close to some alien artifact perhaps. Probably working together but both having slightly different agendas as usual) but then it takes a while to actually get whatever they're trying to do done so they end up getting into the roles a bit too much... not that either will want to admit it.
Also Delgado!Master could have ornate robes and would keep undermining the Doctor's authority in subtle sneaky ways but at the same time cause others to envy the Doctor because of how obviously devoted his sub is and. Things.
This is one of those ideas where I worry that I might like it a bit too much to write it, really. That is, if I could write. :'D
Did write about half a page of the neighbor-verse fic the other day and might even keep parts of it. Currently trying to decide how Ace and Hex met and became friends in that verse, since Hex is at least five years older and a super-responsible nurse student, while Ace is the local ex-youth criminal...
Maybe there was an accident and they had to provide first aid together? Alternatively, it could be Ace who needed medical attention, but that could make for a kind of weird start for a friendship. That is, it'd be good if they were on somewhat level ground at the start, considering the difference in age and social standing in a smallish (?) community like Perivale...
I also considered Hex running a first aid-course that Ace attends for Reasons, but would he be allowed to do that if he wasn't yet a ready nurse? What sort of qualifications would that require? Would that even be reasonable grounds for a friendship? And besides it might put their meeting too close to where the fic starts, as they're supposed to already be fast friends.
