Arc of Infinity

stalkerbunnyI tried to make a hat post but... Photobucket was especially uncooperative so no go. Continuing the search for other hosting programs.
Meanwhile, just watched Arc of Infinity so I'd be prepared for a livestream of the commentary version, and.
Not my favourite episode ever, the plot was a bit... not very engaging at times. Worst example being the scene where they chased Omega around Amsterdam for way too long. But.
...this was my first serial with Nyssa and. *flail break*
... *another flail break* She is so pretty and takes no BS from the Doctor I'm going to cry.

No there will not be any actual coherence, sorry. Also I might have been biased from the beginning but Nyssa and Tegan are girlfriends. It is fact. The way Nyssa's just stops and then gets this little smile when she first hears Tegan is involved! And how mad she gets at the Doctor when he seems willing to risk her life! Darlings! ; A ;
Also I noticed how when Tegan says she lost her job Nyssa just jumps to hug her all "yayyy you're coming withme us!!! :D" even before Tegan says she wants to. x'D
Though, is it just me or does the Doctor actually seem kind of not too enthused? *pokes at* What is his problem, eh? Is he not happy for Nyssa and Tegan, what? (Or maybe that's just Five being his tsundere self, who knows).
...was I going to mention something else? Oh right, Colin Baker was playing the mean guard guy. I mean Commander Maxil. Coliiin~ \¤3¤/
And for half the serial I kept cracking up at Damon and his amazingly drab brown-beige dress that not even an old lady would wear. ESPECIALLY not an old lady. After that I guess my eyes got used to it. A bit. That or they were blinded by the copious amounts of bling all the other Time Lords/Ladies in the serial were wearing. I mean, I like highly decorated clothing more than is healthy but this was just beyond tacky. D8
Talking about which, at first I was wondering if Maxil ever actually wore his helmet instead of just carrying it around, and then he did and pPFFFTt. I. See why he chose not to. x''D (Vimes would judge that helmet and it's ridiculous feather. He would judge it SO HARD).
In conclusion, it would have been unfortunate if the world got destroyed because the Doctor didn't have ANY COINS FOR A PAYPHONE. SRSLY DOCTOR. :U
