Jul. 4th, 2007 03:50 amToday...(yesterday, really, since 4am...curse you rp...) I went to a My Chemical Romance concert. Haven't listened to them that much, but haven't disliked what I have heard, so when my sister and her friend were looking for an adult to go with them, I decided to be "helpful".
It was fun, despite us getting really scary seats. O_O
On the other hand, they were in the same side of the stadium as the stage, BUT even nearer to the roof (about the third highest row there), and the steps were insanely steep. I'm not particularly prone to being afraid of hights, but here I was just clutching the back of my seat, and in the end just tied myself to it with the huge scarf I luckily had with me...no, I really did. >_>
Course I eventually forgot about the height (mostly). The band put up a decent show, I suppose, and the audience certaily did. It's rather fun screaming as loud as you can with a stadium full of people, right? ^__^
And I need to listen to one of the songs, in a form where I can actually make out the words and other finer nuances sometime, because it sounded nice.
And got down the steps of doom alive too, even with stiff legs and a short skirt.
really, those steps were dangerous...there wasn't even a railing for most of the way. O_o
