Hello new and old people *wave*

stalkerbunnyBeen taking part in this lovely Doctor Who friending meme, and, um, welcome to the flist?
EDIT: It occurs to me this kind of derailed from being a proper introduction of any sort, so might do a proper one later when I'm not all loopy from being tired. :'D
I've been neglecting posting so not sure where to start...
So, have now been living in Sweden since August, and at the last part of the museology introduction course. Specialization in ethnology starts at the end of January... :x
So far, I have A's for parts 2/4, my Swedish has become a lot better (though I still have a lot to learn too) and I've generally enjoyed it when I wasn't despairing over the fast pacing. Gotten used to it gradually, I think.
The people who've hired a room for me have also been very lovely and I hope I can live here a while. They've essentially treated me like family, or maybe a bit better. They also have a lovely dog and currently two cats who are staying here while their owners are travelling for a couple of months.

So, this is Booboo/Bobbo or however it's supposed to be written.
He's basically 99% fluff
Him after I caught him poking his paws in the water pitcher:
I saw you mister.
Pippi/Pippin who is the tiniest adult cat I've ever seen. She still manages to boss Booboo around, somehow.
Has the most curious eyecolour too.
Also, one morning I was groggy from both not eating in over ten hours and sleeping badly, and was stepping into my room to finally eat breakfast at seven am, when something came out of the closet and my tired brain went into "ohmg!?!" mode before it could comprehend it was just Pippi. The son of the family who I woke up said he has never heard such a horror movie scream in real life... I'D
Funnily enough, I thought she'd hide forever as Pippi was very timid until then but... she actually got less timid just a bit after? Idk, cats are mysterious creatures. =_=
And lastly, Zak:
(you can just about see Booboo's fluffy tail in the bg)
And getting sand in my bed, that sneaky bobble.
So that's about the local wildlife...
In other news, was at the Scandinavian Scifi, Game and Film Convention the other weekend, which was mostly just sales tables, but a nice day out with friends anyway. Happened to find a boxed set on a nineties tv adaptation of The Scarlet Pimpernel which... I knew nothing about BUT it did have Richard E. Grant playing the lead and the box was cheap so snapped it up.
Series itself is indeed less than perfect, but pretty much worth it just for the Reg dashing about and also Georgian era clothing porn. I've so far watched series 2 and first episode of series 1 (long story) and made a gazillion screencaps already... maybe I could post those sometime? (already posted some on tumblr).
Also, today's studies were pretty awesome, but this post is already quite long enough so I'll save that to another post. Bye for now <3
