And how was your day?
Mar. 4th, 2008 09:16 pmYou should see the weather here. Nicely cold, and big, dry snowflakes are falling, making the ground sparkle...it's really pretty. ♥
Just got back from Japanese lessons, which this time lasted only to eight o'clock, so I had time to go buy some food as well. Besides, I wasn't dead tired to begin with like last time (thanks to a certain atk teacher at school who got me really angry that day...but enough about that)
Japanese lessons were the usual, meaning I only completely frose once, when I was asked to read my story aloud. Will be prepared for that next time thought. ^_^
If I haven't mentioned this before, we have a sort of special teacher (mostly in a good way), so besides Japanese grammar and culture (->how not to make a fatal faux pas in Japan), we also learn about the culture of Africa, China and occasional other places + general ethics on the side (and also that cats are evil, but that just shows that no one is perfect :P).
For instance, today the teacher talked about suicide, and how a one kind word might save a life. Which I sort of felt in action today...no, I'm not and never have been suicidal, but I can be pretty insecure. Today, however, one of my classmates just randomly came to say she's noticed that I seem to be good in English. Felt more self confident than usual after that for the rest of the day.
Now maybe I should go make a sandwich...or maybe cut up this whole pineapple I bought since it was for sale. Mm, fresh pineapple. :D
