Me! :D Was thinking of walking to town to check out the second hand store there but it's about 30C/86F (and over two km) and I'd have to wear socks and sneakers because I still have no sandals. :'< Shoes are just too expensive unless it's the cheap sort that'll probably fall apart right away. Blegh.

So I'll write a post about things instead... bought bright pink jeans and yellow socks yesterday (both were on sale) because COLOURS. And made macaroni casserole so I have food for several days. Today I also washed laundry and almost burned my feet on the dark wooden platform outside where the outside drying rack is set up. But they should dry up fast at least...

Insidentally, the OTHER day taiyou_to_tsuki got linked to some plot generators and then infected me with that stuff, so now I have new plotbunnies. As if I needed them.

But so many options how that could go! Like, could be canon except that KP works as a barista, or Jo could work there with Three as the surly owner and with the Master and Peladon as customers, or Jo could be a barista (with or without KP) and the Doctor and the Master could be (married) professors who keep coming there and having loud arguments over Science or something. Actually it'd be a bit funny if KP was a rich aristocratic (or actually a prince?) guy who just decides to have a Regular Life Experience by working as a barista or something... now that sounds like a really cheesy romantic comedy. Not sure if that's even a bad things though.

Other Three and D!Master: ones:

"Tsundere & Day at the beach" yes plz. Although I guess The Sea Devils is kind of that already...

"Hallucinations/visions & Hot summer day" In which time lords are sensitive to heat and also dress impractically. IOW they're running around being nemesey and then just collapse and have to be revived by Jo/UNIT/whoever is around. V. Embarrassing.

"Meet cute & Stuck in an elevator" I like to think of this as that AU where, in Terror of the Autons before the Master has had time to hypnotize Jo they and Rex get stuck in an elevator. Possibly ending in both of them telling her their tragic life stories? Hm... =3=

And for Shalkaverse D/M the best one was: "Pirate AU & Gambling" Basically Doctor Smith the buccaneer gets wasted one night and wins his old nemesis (who has fallen on some hard times) in a game of cards. And then he won't leave. I even started writing that one but it refused to stay as short as I'd have liked. Or at least I need to decide between pruning it into a self-contained drabble or expanding. Meh.

Also later I played with The Whoniverse Random Pairing Generator which makes for some fun unexpected combinations whether one wants to interpret them romantically or not.

Some of the ones I thought were interesting/funny/where I actually sort of knew who the characters were:

The first and most amusing:
Ancelyn/Maxil: allergic reaction (pffffffft) Yeah so. Now we know why Maxil hasn't been seen again, at least not with the same face...

"Vislor Turlough / Mels ('Let's Kill Hitler') / role reversal" Bonding over failing to assassinate the Doctor? Idek. Or maybe Turlough is given some lessons in same because he... kind of sucks. A lot.

"Polly Wright / The Rani / truth is relative" oh dear... u ok Polly?

"Leela / Sara Kingdom / a shift in perception" Too. Much. Badass... xAx

"Fitz Kreiner / Izzy Sinclair / a cunning plan" I've never actually seen these characters in action but I understand Fitz is Eight's bf or something and Izzy is awesome (and also Eight's comp.). Also the prompt is cunning plan (is this a cunning plan or a cunning plan?).

"Polly Wright / Ianto Jones / Vervoids" sounds like a fun adventure?

"Frobisher / Rory Williams / cricket" yes why not.

"Jamie McCrimmon / Dodo Chaplet / remembering" Dat prompt... Could either be set at some gap in canon where Two and co. run into Dodo or set in season 6B where Jamie is trying to remember things and idk they go hang out with Dodo for some reason? Either way there would probably be feels. Bwah.

"Maxil / Fitz Kreiner / bleeding" Maxil no. Stahp. *swats with newspaper*

"Ben Jackson / Harry Sullivan / meeting someone famous" Hmmm... not sure what could be done with this one but those two are both military bbus.

"Vincent van Gogh / Jack Harkness / holding hands" d'awww :'D

"Professor Yana / Victoria Waterfield / dealing with the consequences" Hmmm... potentially interesting, especially since I think there was something somewhere about an older Victoria (after she was brainwashed by the Great Intelligence for years) traveling with Two or... something? And anyway those two just sound like they'd make a cute combination.

"Barbara Wright / Adric / a swordfight" Muahaha yes. I mean, swordfighting? Barbara? Two of my favourite things! (she could be badass and save them both, whether by actual swordfighting or other means. Yes. Maybe by dropping a chandelier on the opponent/s or something... would the opponent be Ainley!Master?)

"Charley Pollard / Martha Jones / behind closed doors" ... is it bad this is maybe the only I could maybe actually ship a little? *ponders*

Oh, and one bunny was a combination of three different ones...

"Romana I / Henry Gordon Jago / captured by the enemy + The Celestial Toymaker / Henry Gordon Jago / Leadworth + Shalka!Ninth Doctor / George Litefoot / delusions of grandeur"

So basically this would be a Jago & Litefoot adventure where Romana and Jago get captured by the Celestial Toymaker and meanwhile Litefoot has to deal with Shalka!Nine? Yes good. ¤3¤
