Oh the pretty ♥
So yes, I did buy new shoes today :')
Not the ones I wrote about in last post, but instead slightly less pretty ones (still very nice, but no shiny ornate buckle on these :P) which were more expensive by 20 euro, (89.90 in total. Egh.), but which should weather cold better, and claim to have special insulation and moisture reduction and shock absorption and what have you. Like the sales person said, they're like a car. :9
*shrug* But hey, I do have to walk to school (and everywhere else) every day. And it's a long walk. :)
And then headed to the flea market, where I purchased two old books.
First one is more for reading, thought the cover captured my eye first (what's that, a toy reindeer? XD)
printed in 1948 and the name of the original story is Death In The Doll's House.

And the other one I MIGHT read but I bought it more for just being such a charming, pretty book. :9
From 1958, illustrated by Maija Karma (a known illustrator, I think). Title translates as Lotta of Vuorilinna.
The Cover

the inside cover pages and illustrations are teh pretty as well.

I believe this is Senate Square in Helsinki
The same church appears on the cover as well, if you look at the background.

aaaw...

Weren't those guys in the last one just adorable ♥
Talking of adorable, on the title page I found this little guy, probably drawn by a past owner?
Don't tell me this is The Beatles fanart from -64, I mean, looking at pics of them back then...hm. =3=
