talking about my writing for no particular reason...

maybe it'll even stop me from bothering other people about it...or not.

Just wrote something quite distressing...urgh.
One of my main characters (mister L. let's say)...Well people are supposed to sort of like the main characters (or/and find them interesting), right? This person is supposed to be the one the other main characters sort of circle around, but he was being very flat, character wise. Also, he was completely left in the sidelines in the first part I wrote. Althought the plot WAS, character L. is missing, I. and J. go look for him, basically, so...(eek...that sounds terribly familiar...damn, but I've been writing variations of this story for years, BEFORE I ever saw Naruto, I swear...)

Anyway, I was worried character L. who tends to cause problems just because he acts stubidly, was merely annoying, so I decided to add some angst to the equation...also happens to work with the major plot-thingy in part 2...Yay

Writing the source of his angst, however, was somewhat...It's not even that bad! I have great difficulty writing unpleasant things...or truly evil characters. Even my main baddies just tend to not really care, or be slightly amoral...or, actually, care about a certain person/thing. Really, they are just people who happen to have a reason to cause troubles to the main characters. Or help them, when the situation changes. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing, I rather like it.

Speaking of unpleasantness, character J. might need some. If she remains as nice as she originally seemed to try to become, she's going to be as interesting as toilet paper...except less. I'll have try my best to make her at least a bit edgier.
