Of naming of inanimate objects.

It's something I like very much as an idea, but never get around to myself.
So, my precious laptop and cuddleable MP3 player (♥) remain nameless so far. The scanner I might have sort of named, but aloud I only call it The Incarnate of Evil. =_=

BUT to get to the point, I just hooked up my new information shed external hardrive. Its brand name happens to be LACIE, which...well, it just shortens quite conveniently into Lacy, doesn't it? Which also works very well with the design of the thing, since it's a pretty minimalistic black box. It doesn't even have an on/off button! :9
